Sourodipto Modak is a Chemical engineer who is currently working as a Ph.D. Scholar, under the guidance of Dr Priyanka Katiyar (Assistant Professor, Department of Chemical Engineering) and under the co-guidance of Dr. Sanjeev Yadav (Head of the Department, Department of Chemical Engineering). He is working in the field of utilization of waste biomass residues for bioenergy production as well as in wastewater treatment. Sourodipto has presented his research works in reputed conferences at a national level as well as abroad. Sourodipto holds a keen interest in the field of circular economy as well as the development of sustainable technologies which serve the same. Apart from academia, he is a musician and has performed in various tech fests in various colleges in and around Bangalore.
